Creative scraps

Ok so..... what to do with extra material? Well if you have a lot and you don't know what to do. Just make a loose fit tank with a lace back. :)
ADVISE: make sure its long and loose, make it about three times your size on the form, so your curves can show without it looking weird:).

Old creation bought to life

In one of my older posts i had made a green lantern/ sailor moon costume. But i didn't get to put any pictures on my actual customer. This is my customer rockin the costume at an event.
ADVISE: make sure the customer gives you the best of measurements so everything comes out beautiful and precise. You always want your customer to be pleased with the outcome:)

Baby dress creation!

This june after a wonderful vacation back to my home state California, i was privileged with making my baby sisters birthday dress. I had one week and needed to make it perfect. The pink material was bought from New York city...so i had to make sure it looked awesome for her first birthday party. I truly enjoyed making this beautiful light weight flows dress. PERFECT FOR A NICE HOT SUMMER DAY.
ADVISE: Doing a hem on this light material is really hard to do. Its better of to surge of with a pretty highlighting color.

Tropical dress

I just recently made a dress in my last semester as my final. It is a size 8 and very light weight. Me and one of my best friends desided to go on vacation in california where she modeled my dress on my favorite beach i used to go all the time. All in all we had fun and the dress was an easy colorful make:) its also for sale so feel free to email tehannapie@yahoo.com for details.
ADVICE: light weight material is in need pr lots of surging to get ride of crazy loose threads. Causing the one and only hassle of this tropical dress.

Bathing suit frenzy

On top of all my assignments i had for this lovely summer, i also had the assignment to make a bathing suit for my friend. When my friend and i took a trip to California, she finally got to wear and model the bathing suit i had made her. it all in all was fun to make. We went to the store and spent time picking out cool colors and textures while creating the design at the same time:) it was a task full of imagination and a wonderful ending:) the short fit high wasted with perfection and incredible shape. The top has wide straps easy for a fitting hold. It is indeed a project i am TRULY proud of.
ADVISE: ALWAYS LEAVE A MIND FOR CREATING AND IMAGINATION!!!:)

Green lantern/sailor moon

I just had the pleasure of making this awesome costume for an enthusiastic customer:) it was a lot of fun to make and easy once i drapped and made the pattern. I love making costumes...i love the freedom of absolute creativity and weirdness that someone will rock it. Its a good felling. Well ta  ta for know ppl. Until next time:)

THE SCHEME T's

Last week i finally finished three shirts for the band member's of THE SCHEME band they're incredible and i had the pleasure of making awesome shirts for them. I will be shipping them off with the leather jacket made for one KRIS from THE  SCHEME. I am proud to say my skills are steppin up and i am happy to be making cool stuff for such awesome people.

Magical pants

So as of recently i have made a pair of awesome size 8 whites denim pants. Obviously i felt that dying and painting would be fantastic...and i dirtied it in blue. I am also selling them for $150. It was so much fun to make, but also a hassle.
ADVISE: don't expect drapping of pants to be easy....its not even close

Sold

I made this vest for my first semester term garment. It had lace on the bottom, but i took the lace away. Then i sold my finished peace to a mutual fashion design friend. My next piece, a child's birthday dress, will be done soon:)

Old inspiration

Its funny how i found an old dress from my 6th grade graduation just in a bag. When i found it, it made me remember when i designed  this dress and my favorite teacher bought it to life for my special day:) will never forget the feeling of wearing my creation:)
